Characterization of soybean systems world wide

Understanding high and low grain yield regions
GBL-62 project site in Mato Grosso, Brazil

Soybean production systems vary greatly among different regions of the world regarding cropping, soil, and nutrient management. Aiming to understand variations, IPNI programs participating on the WG8 – Nutrient Decision Support for Soybean Systems produced a brief set of slides showing the characteristics of the soybean systems in each region: Brazil, China, Latin America Southern Cone (Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay), North America (Alabama, Arkansas, and Kansas), Southern & Eastern Russia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia. File is available for download.
