Fall/Winter N Fertilization of Cropping Systems with Soybeans

The soybean crop is inserted into several production systems and presents great economic and social importance in Brazil agriculture. In the last years, however, the average yield did not present significant increase, because of the vulnerability to adverse weather conditions and low quality of soil management. Thereby, it is needed to develop studies aiming to adopt practices as the usage of cover crops and fertilization focused on the production system, in order to improve the “soil environment”, so the plants may better express their productive potential. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate production systems involving different plants in the fall/winter season in rotation with soybean and, also, the effect of sidedress nitrogen fertilization in these plants over soil attributes and productive aspects of the systems.
