IPNI Releases Revised Forage Crop Pocket Guide


January 11, 2016 , Peachtree Corners, GA, USA - The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) has released the its newly revised edition of the Forage Crop Pocket Guide.

This booklet is a practical guide to forage production developed by Dr. Don Ball, Dr. Carl Hoveland and Dr. Garry Lacefield, authors of the widely popular book Southern Forages - Modern Concepts for Forage Crop Management.

The 56 page Pocket Guide is packed with useful facts and reference lists related to plant characteristics, fertilizer and nutrients, stand establishment, animal requirements, grazing, and forage quality, including hay and silage.
